Rifugio Brioschi — Grigne, Lecco

Lombardy

The Grigne massif (Grigna Settentrionale, 2,409 m) above Lecco is one of the most dramatic limestone massifs in the Prealps — a complex of towers, gullies and high ridges. The Rifugio Brioschi on the summit gives views over Como, Lecco, the Po plain and a full arc of the Alps. The approach from Esino Lario crosses the famous Rifugio Bogani alpine garden. Dogs well-adapted to rocky terrain.
