Riace — Locride Coast Walk

In 1972 a diver discovered two bronze Greek statues 8 m deep off the Riace Marina beach — now considered the finest surviving examples of classical Greek bronze sculpture (480-460 BC). The coastal walk above passes the Bronzi discovery point and continues along the Ionian coast above 'nduja country and the Byzantine Gerace hilltop.
