Ravello — Villa Cimbrone

Ravello sits 365 m above Amalfi on a spur between two valleys. The Villa Cimbrone gardens end in the Terrazza dell'Infinito — a balustrade of busts looking straight down the Amalfi Coast to the horizon. Greta Garbo and Leopold Stokowski hid here from the press in 1937. Wagner completed Parsifal here in 1880.
