Rasiglia

Umbria

Clear spring water rises straight from the limestone here and is channeled through a network of stone canals that once powered wool-washing mills and small textile workshops. Waterwheels still turn along the lanes, and the crystal-clear channels run directly beside and even under some houses. The springs feed the Menotre river, which continues downstream toward its own waterfalls.
