Alta Murgia — Minervino Walk

Minervino Murge sits at 450 m on the northern Alta Murgia — the highest part of the Puglian plateau. The walk above the town climbs through masserie and ancient sheep tracks to the ridge overlooking the Ofanto valley, the Basilicata hills and the Campanian Apennines. The Alta Murgia national park has Stepp grassland with rare plants.
