The Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Prosecco hills are UNESCO-listed — steep hillside vineyards that have been cultivated since the 11th century on a series of hogback ridges. The walk from Conegliano (home of the painter Cima da Conegliano) above the Glera vineyards in September-October coincides with harvest.
