This dramatic circular void formed when an underground cavern's roof collapsed, leaving a sheer-walled pit over 60 metres deep with mature oak trees growing on its floor, visible from the rim above. It's counted among the largest known dolines in Europe and sits within the same limestone district as several show caves nearby. A short path circles part of the rim, offering different angles down into the pit.
