Possagno — Tempio Canoviano & Gipsoteca

Canova, one of the great neoclassical sculptors, designed and partly funded this domed temple modelled on the Pantheon in his home village of Possagno, where a dedicated gallery (the Gipsoteca) also holds his plaster models. The temple grounds give a view over the village and the first ridges of the Prealpi Trevigiane behind it.
