Pontboset — Borgo di Pietra sul Ru

Pontboset sits in a narrow side valley away from the main Aosta valley traffic, its cluster of dark stone houses connected by a still-functioning ru, one of the traditional irrigation channels that made mountain farming possible here. A path follows the channel between the hamlets, easy and shaded by the valley walls.
