Pizzone — Porta del Parco PNALM Molise
Molise
While most visitors reach the national park from the Abruzzo side around Pescasseroli, Pizzone offers a quieter approach on the Molise side of the Mainarde, with trails climbing through beech forest into the same protected wilderness. Wolves and Marsican brown bears roam this stretch of the park, rarely seen but occasionally tracked.
