Pizzo dei Tre Signori
Lombardy
Named for the three noble jurisdictions whose borders once met on its summit, Pizzo dei Tre Signori is one of the highest points in the Orobie Bergamasche and a serious full-day outing from either the Val Brembana or Valtellina side. The final ridge scrambles over exposed limestone with the Bergamasque Alps unfolding in every direction. Ibex have been reintroduced successfully to the surrounding cirques in recent decades.
