Pescocostanzo — Centro Storico & Tombolo Lace

Pescocostanzo's old town preserves an unusually complete set of stone Renaissance and Baroque buildings for a small Apennine settlement, largely because it grew wealthy on wool trade and, still today, handmade tombolo lace. The streets are flat, pedestrian and quiet outside summer weekends.
