Passo Pennes (Penser Joch)

At over 2,200 m, Passo Pennes connects the quiet Val Sarentina to the Val Ridanna, its grassy saddle giving open views across the rounded, glacier-free Sarentine Alps in one direction and toward the higher peaks of the Val Ridanna in the other. Traffic is light and the pass sees few hikers.
