Less trafficked than the park's showcase valleys, this beech-forested pass near Villavallelonga sees fewer visitors but similar wildlife, including chamois, red deer, and occasionally bear tracks in soft ground. The trail crests at a broad saddle with views down into the Camosciara basin on the far side.
