Passo di Pramollo — Monte Paularo
Friuli-Venezia Giulia
Passo di Pramollo (1,529 m) is one of the least-visited passes in the Carnic Alps despite being easily reachable. The walk from Paularo to the pass traverses old charcoal production clearings (now flowery meadows) and crosses a ridge with simultaneous views into Austria to the north and Slovenia to the east. Roe deer, chamois and golden eagle are all present. Virtually no other walkers.
