Passo del Furlo — Belvedere

The Passo del Furlo belvedere looks straight down into the narrow cleft the Candigliano river has cut through the Apennine foothills, followed since Roman times by the Via Flaminia and its tunnel carved under Vespasian. Golden eagles nest on the cliffs and are regularly seen from the viewpoint. It's a shorter, easier way to appreciate the gorge than walking its full length below.
