Passeggiata Tappeiner, Merano

Trentino-Alto Adige

Doctor Tappeiner laid out this path in the 1890s to contour the Küchelberg above the old town, and it is lined with cypress, olive, palm, agave and cactus that thrive in Merano's mild pocket. Benches and belvederes look over the town, the Adige valley and the peaks of the Texel group.
