Parco Regionale Boschi di Carrega, Sala Baganza

Once the private hunting grounds of the Dukes of Parma, the Boschi di Carrega cover a stretch of low wooded hills south of the city with a network of gravel paths, a small lake and the ruined Casino dei Boschi lodge at its centre. It's a flat, shaded, everyday walk popular with Parma families.
