Val di Zoldo — Lago di Pontesei

Lago di Pontesei (800 m) in the Val di Zoldo is a reservoir below the north face of the Civetta (3,220 m) and the Moiazza group. The drowned village of Erto-Vecchio (submerged in 1954) is sometimes visible below the surface in summer. The Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park begins immediately above the lake. Golden eagle, chamois and roe deer are all present. The lake circuit is flat and accessible.
