Prealpi Giulie — Laghi di Fusine Walk

The Parco Naturale Regionale delle Prealpi Giulie in the Natisone valleys has 1,400 plant species — the highest plant diversity in the Friuli mountains. The valleys have a strong Slovenian cultural heritage (the Natisone Slovenes have lived here for 1,500 years). The Grotta di Viganti and other caves have rare troglobitic fauna. Roe deer and wolf are common. Dogs welcome on all park trails.
