The Feniglia sandbar connects Monte Argentario to the mainland across a lagoon. Cars are banned; a tree-lined cycling and walking path runs the 8 km length through pine forest where fallow deer wander between the trees. The beach on the sea side is wild, uncrowded and gorgeous.
