Parco Naturale Litorale di Ugento

Between Torre San Giovanni and Lido Marini the park protects high dune ridges, the brackish "bacini" lakes fringed with reed, and one of the largest coastal pinewoods in the Salento. Boardwalks cross the dunes to long, shallow, pale-sand beaches, quieter than the Adriatic side.
