Felice Piacenza laid out this English-style park above Pollone over decades from the 1840s, planting exotic trees and, in a small combe, hundreds of rhododendrons that flower into a wall of colour each spring. Gravel lanes wind up to a meadow crown with the Alps on the skyline.
