Parco del Mincio — Borghetto
Lombardy
Borghetto sul Mincio is a tiny medieval village built across the Mincio river on multiple water mills — one of Lombardy's most photographed spots but little known outside Italy. The riverside cycle and walking path connects Valeggio sul Mincio to Peschiera through Parco del Mincio with herons, kingfishers and marsh harriers. The Mincio connects Lake Garda to the Po and the flat riverside is perfect for dogs.
