The Grotta del Farneto in the Parco Nazionale dell'Appennino Tosco-Emiliano above Villa Minozzo is the most accessible cave in the northern Apennines — guided tours through 800 m of passages with 50 m stalactite and stalagmite formations. The surrounding beech forest is excellent for wildlife. The park has golden eagle and wolf. Dogs welcome outside; not inside the cave.
