Punta degli Infreschi south of Marina di Camerota is the wildest section of the Cilento coastline — no road access, only a 4 km walk from the marina. The sea caves below the limestone cliffs have arched sea entrances visible from above. The water is the clearest in Campania. Mediterranean monk seal was recorded here historically. The walk passes through low Mediterranean maquis.
