The park covers the mineral-rich Campigliese hills, worked for copper, lead and silver since the Etruscans. Trails link the medieval mining village and castle of Rocca San Silvestro, tunnel mouths, spoil heaps and the Temperino gallery (visited by a small train, dogs excluded), through maquis and Mediterranean pine.
