Panarea island near Stromboli has underwater volcanic hot springs at Punta del Lisca Bianca — the sea bottom bubbles with volcanic gas and is warm at 30–50°C in places. The hot springs are reachable by boat from Panarea port or by snorkelling from the rocks. Panarea is the smallest and most exclusive Aeolian island — frequented by yachts and Italian celebrities in summer. Dogs welcome on the spring beach.
