Osini Vecchia — Paese Abbandonato

Repeated landslides in the 1950s forced the complete abandonment of old Osini, and rather than being demolished, the village was simply left in place as its residents rebuilt lower down the slope. Paths wind through the roofless stone houses and empty streets, a quiet and slightly eerie walk through recent Sardinian history.
