Orridi di Uriezzo, Baceno

When the Toce glacier melted it left these narrow canyons — Orrido Sud, Orrido Nord-Est, Orrido Ovest — scoured and polished by meltwater but now dry. Marked paths drop into the slots, some barely shoulder-wide and 20 m deep, linking to the giant potholes (Marmitte dei Giganti) at nearby Maiesso.
