Parco dell'Orecchiella, Garfagnana

The Parco dell'Orecchiella in the Garfagnana is a high Apennine plateau with wildlife exhibits and walking trails. Fallow deer, mouflon, red deer and wild boar roam in semi-wild enclosures visible from the path. Silver fir forest covers the plateau and opens onto highland meadows used for cheese production.
