Bosco Casale is one of the last mature Turkey-oak and hornbeam woods on the Molise hills, with nature trails, a small visitor centre and hides. Woodpeckers, buzzards, nightjars and, in the clearings, orchids; deer and wild cat pass through the surrounding farmland mosaic.
