Oasi Cave di Noale

Veneto

When the brick works closed, the pits filled with water and nature moved in: the Oasi Cave di Noale is now a chain of lakes and marsh with willow and poplar between, ringed by a flat path with hides. Herons, grebes, kingfishers and — on passage — ospreys use it, half an hour from Venice or Padua.
