The last Bourbon kings kept this hillside of Turkey oak and hornbeam as a game reserve above the palace; the WWF now runs it with nature trails, an educational farm and two small lakes. Deer, porcupines and woodpeckers live among the trees, and the ridge looks down over the Reggia and the Campania plain.
