Montevecchia & Parco del Curone

Lombardy

Montevecchia rises from the Brianza plain in a series of grassy terraces and rosemary-scented ridges, topped by a hilltop sanctuary reached up a long stair. The regional park protects the Curone and Molgora stream valleys behind it, with chestnut woods, springs and three symmetrical hills locally dubbed the "pyramids of Montevecchia".
