Monte Terminio
Campania
Monte Terminio (1,806 m) anchors the Picentini range's beech forests, among the most extensive and least disturbed in Campania, sheltering wildcat and a healthy roe deer population. The long ascent through unbroken forest opens onto a summit ridge with views across to the Gulf of Salerno on clear days. Snow lingers into spring most years.
