Terminillo Lower Beech Loop
Lazio
The beech forest below Monte Terminillo between 1,200 and 1,600 m is one of the finest in central Italy. The lower circuit walks through old growth with towering beeches, extensive colonies of hellebore and cyclamen, and regular roe deer sightings.
