Monte Stivo (2,059 m) above Arco has one of the greatest panoramic views in Trentino — Lake Garda below, Brenta Dolomites north, the Adamello glacier west, the Po plain south. The summit cross is a landmark seen from the lake. The approach from Arco Mincio passes through an oak forest with boar and roe deer. Chamois on the upper slopes. Golden eagle hunting. Dogs off-leash above the treeline.
