Monte Solenne, Valnerina

From the Nera valley floor a mule path climbs the wooded flank of Monte Solenne (1,286 m) to open pasture on top. The whole Valnerina is laid out below — Ferentillo, the castle-villages, the Nera's meanders — with the Sibillini beyond and, west, the Martani and Terni basin.
