Monte Soglio above Santo Stefano Belbo in the Monferrato is the finest panoramic viewpoint in the Asti hills — 360° views encompassing the Langhe wine country, the Monferrato hills, the Po plain and the Alps from Mont Blanc to the Apennines. The hill has wildflower meadow (over 80 species). Honey buzzard in summer. The Belbo valley below is Cesare Pavese country. Dogs off-leash.
