Monte Santo di Pula

Sardinia

Monte Santo (708 m) rises straight behind the Pula plain. Forest roads and paths climb through cork and holm oak — and a nuraghic well temple — to the bare summit with its old military radar dome, from where the Gulf of Cagliari, the island of San Pietro and, on the clearest days, the mountains of Barbagia are all in view.
