From the Passo della Mendola a path climbs the long meadow crest — past the Malga Romeno and the Roèn cross — to the 2,116 m summit. West it drops to the apple orchards and lakes of the Val di Non; east, over the Bolzano basin, the Sciliar, the Catinaccio and the Latemar stand up in a row.
