Monte Rite — Museo nelle Nuvole, Cibiana

A gated military road (walkable, or a shuttle jeep) climbs from the Passo Cibiana to the Forte Monte Rite at 2,180 m, where Reinhold Messner built the "Museum in the Clouds" inside the casemates. The terrace looks straight at the Pelmo, Civetta, Antelao and Marmarole — an all-star Dolomite panorama.
