Monte Resegone from Ballabio

The Resegone (1,875 m) above Lecco is one of Lombardy's most recognisable summits — its serrated teeth-like ridge silhouette appears on page one of Alessandro Manzoni's I Promessi Sposi ('quella costiera che forma il Resegone'). The route from Ballabio climbs through pre-Alpine meadows to an exposed limestone ridge traverse.
