Monte Rasu, Foresta di Burgos

Sardinia

From the Foresta di Burgos — with its famous stud of Anglo-Arab horses — forest roads climb Monte Rasu (1,259 m) through ancient holm oak, yew and Sardinian maple to a rocky top with a summit cross. The view runs over the Goceano ridge, the Tirso valley and, on clear days, the Gennargentu and both coasts.
