Rising just west of Norcia, this ridge gives an elevated perspective on the Sibillini massif without the crowds drawn to Castelluccio's flowering plain directly below. Oak scrub gives way to open pasture higher up, grazed by sheep whose milk feeds Norcia's noted cheese and cured-meat traditions. The 2016 earthquakes reshaped parts of the surrounding landscape, and some trail sections have been rerouted since.
