Monte Nero, Entroterra Imperiese

Liguria

Monte Nero (1,297 m) above Pieve di Teco in the western Ligurian hinterland is one of the best viewpoints in western Liguria. The summit gives a panorama from the Maritime Alps (with Monviso and the main Alpine chain) across to Corsica visible on the clearest days. The approach through ancient chestnut groves and old terraced fields is an authentic Ligurian landscape rarely visited by tourists.
