Magnodeno (1,241 m) is the green wall behind eastern Lecco, its lower flanks scarred by the marl quarries that fed the city's cement works. Paths from Laorca or Malavedo climb through beech and hornbeam to the grassy top, with the Grigne, the Resegone and the whole first basin of the Lario at your feet.
