Seen from the Abetone road, Monte Libro Aperto (1,937 m) really does look like a book laid face-up. A path from the Passo di Serrabassa or the Selletta climbs through beech to the grassy saddle between its two tops, with the Corno alle Scale, the Apuane and the Cimone all around.
