The "Gölem" is the great whaleback that walls the east side of Lake Iseo. Paths climb from Zone, Pezzoro or the Croce di Marone through beech and pasture to Rifugio Almici and the huge iron Cross of the Redeemer on the summit, with a panorama from the Adamello and Bernina to the Apennine on a clear day.
